Western Sydney Tech Innovators

Western Sydney Tech Innovators (WSTI) is a grassroots not-for-profit helping communities build AI literacy through hands-on learning and inclusive programs.

Based in Parramatta, we support over 800 members from all walks of life — including seniors, young people, migrants, small business owners and creatives. Our goal is simple: make artificial intelligence practical, accessible and empowering for everyone.

What we offer:

• Community AI Labs, Casual Hangouts and Meetups - Monthly events where people connect, share ideas and explore AI through activities like chatbot building, AI art creation and business automation.
• Creative AI Workshops for Youth - Sessions like Movie Making with AI and Animated Storytelling help children and teens build confidence and explore emerging technologies.
• Future Jobs Series for Professionals - Practical insights into how AI is reshaping industries, and what it means for careers and workplaces.
• AI Playtime for Children - Delivered in partnership with libraries and service providers to spark curiosity and early learning.
• Multilingual AI Talks for Seniors - Beginner-friendly sessions tailored to local communities, making learning accessible and enjoyable.

We also co-design programs with councils, schools, libraries and universities to reduce digital exclusion and promote responsible AI use.

All WSTI programs are free and focused on real-world impact. Whether it’s learning to use AI safely, creating with new tools or exploring future careers, we help people build skills that matter.
