Vocaldi is a Mac application that provides system-wide dictation and selected-text read-aloud. It helps people write by speaking and review work by listening.

Speech recognition and voice synthesis run on the user's Mac, with core features available offline. Users can dictate in 25 languages and choose from 54 reading voices across 9 languages. Vocaldi is available as a seven-day trial and a one-time licence.

Vocaldi helps businesses adopt private, on-device speech technology through a native Mac application. It provides system-wide dictation and natural text-to-speech across existing workplace tools, without requiring employees to upload sensitive speech or written content to cloud services.

Businesses can use Vocaldi to support:

  • faster writing
  • document review
  • accessibility
  • multilingual work.

The application runs locally on Apple silicon computers and works offline after its speech models are downloaded. This may suit organisations that value privacy, predictable costs and simple deployment.

Built in Australia, Vocaldi is designed for professionals, writers, and people with dyslexia or attention differences. The organisation also works directly with users to understand workflows, identify accessibility or productivity needs, and improve how Vocaldi integrates into everyday work.
