Skill Up and Shine

I founded Skill Up and Shine to help people build confidence and capability with technology. Over the past 15 years, I have helped thousands of people learn science and technology, including more than 700 people learn about generative artificial intelligence tools. My focus is on creating engaging, tailored learning experiences that remove barriers to technology adoption and ensure effective on-the-job application.

I follow a three-step process when engaging with a new customer:

• assess the organisation’s technology adoption status through a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. This includes identifying enablers, barriers, sentiment, current competency, key opportunities and agreeing on a suitable development mode (what, when, where, how)
• develop and tailor resources, then deliver training sessions that typically include hands-on activities and case studies
• provide optional individual or group consultations to support participants as they apply their learning in the workplace.
