EthicAI is a Sydney-based consultancy specialising in AI ethics, governance and organisational change. The company helps organisations adopt AI responsibly by translating strategy into practical governance structures, workforce capability programs and operational systems that support accountable and sustainable AI adoption.

Working with SMEs, not-for-profits and public sector organisations, EthicAI focuses on helping organisations build the readiness, processes and oversight required to move from AI exploration to implementation. Its approach emphasises human-centred decision-making, with AI used to augment organisational judgement rather than replace it.

EthicAI's service offerings include:

  • organisational readiness assessments through its Future Fit Diagnostic
  • AI governance frameworks, including the Error Tolerance Framework for public sector organisations
  • workforce capability development through EPOCH, a human capability framework developed with MIT Sloan
  • AI implementation and technology delivery
  • AI ethics, governance and risk management advisory services

The company also developed Selma, an on-premises, air-gapped AI solution designed for organisations with strict data sovereignty, privacy and security requirements. Selma can be fine-tuned using client documentation and operates without cloud dependency, supporting secure AI adoption in sensitive environments.

EthicAI has worked across government, community and commercial sectors, including AI governance and proof-of-concept work for the Office of the WA Ombudsman and digital identity research undertaken with MIT Media Lab. As a women-led consultancy, the company focuses on helping organisations implement practical, ethical and defensible AI practices that can withstand operational, regulatory and public scrutiny.
