Canopus Networks provides deep visibility into how people use communications infrastructure. It analyses high‑speed network traffic in real time to show usage, experience and security.
The company was spun out of UNSW Sydney by Prof. Vijay Sivaraman, who applied his research in software‑defined networking and AI technologies. Canopus uses patented machine learning models to analyse encrypted traffic. This reveals detailed insights into how people use applications such as streaming video, gaming, conferencing and AI chatbots.
The Canopus AI platform operates in several Tier‑1 fixed‑line and mobile networks. It is also used by enterprises in higher education and manufacturing.
